A special version of SW used in OMX 102UNI was succesfully validated in spring by an acredited body in accordnace with IEC 62138 and IEC 61226.
The OMX 102UNI is therefore now fully in line with the standards relevant to Instrumentation and control important for safety - Software aspects for computer-based systems performing category B or C functions in nuclear power plants.

Since September 2013 all 12-bit D/A convertors used in analogue outputs have been replaced by a 16-bit version. All original technical specifications have either been preserved, or improved.

As of spring 2014 the supply for the sensor (excitation) has been made an integral part of the following devices: OM 352UNI, OM 402UNI/PID, OM 502, OM 602UQC, OM 653, OMB 402UNI, OMB 412UNI, OMB 451, OMB 452. This option used to be subject to additional cost, now it is free of charge. It may happen that when asking for a quote or placing an order, you will receive a confirmation which will include excitation. There is no need to be alarmed, this would be correct and it only means our customer receives added value without any added cost.
